Basic Definition

In poker, the "flop" refers to the first three community cards that are revealed, as well as the stage of the game when these cards are dealt.

Specific Situation

• If your hand is AK and the flop comes QTJ, you have completed a straight.
• If your hand is 78 and the flop is AKQ, you have a diamond flush.

Important Information

• It is important to accurately assess the strength of your hand on the flop. For example, if you have a strong draw on the flop, you should develop a strategy considering the possibility of completing it on the turn or river.
• Even if you have a strong hand on the flop, the situation can reverse on the turn or river, so it's important not to be overconfident.
