Basic Definition

A showdown refers to the moment at the end of a poker round when players reveal their hands to determine which one wins. This usually occurs after all betting rounds have finished and multiple players remain.

Specific Situation

• After the river action, reveal your hands to determine the winner. For example, if you have and your opponent has , and the board is , you win with two pairs.
• If no one bets and the river ends with a check, the game proceeds to a showdown where all hands are revealed and the winner is determined.

Important Information
