Straight flush

Basic Definition

A straight flush is a poker hand consisting of five consecutive cards all in the same suit. It is the second strongest hand in No-Limit Hold'em.

Specific Situation

  • If your hand is 67 and the flop is 89T, you have completed a straight flush.
  • If your hand is QJ and the flop is KT9, you have completed a straight flush.

Important Information

  • A straight flush is the second strongest hand in poker, following a royal flush.
  • The chances of completing a straight flush are extremely low. Therefore, you don't often see it in actual play.
